I'm still a newbie in the blog scene, I started only in October of
the last year. From
the beginning, I was impressed by
Zorras Bread Baking Day and of course I participated in the past editions. I was very
glad when zorra from kochtopf asked me to host BBD #50 - the 50th
edition! Congrats to zorra to this number and also a thank you from me
to all who have participated. All of you make BBD so successful - since
2007.
I love to bake bread - I love the smell of a fresh loaf throughout the house…
To take part in this event,
you are required to do all of the following;
We like to eat bread with vegetables, for example bread with
carrots or potatoes, and so I got the idea for the current BBD - bake a
bread with vegetables like corn, onions, carrots, squash, etc. You can
puree, grate the vegetables or put them whole in the bread. Important is
that it is a yeasted dough and one or more vegetables are included. All
other ingredients are allowed, wheat or rye flour, oatmeal, barley -
whatever you want!
- Create and bake your bread
- Post about it on your blog, then link that post back to this post
- If you’re blog is in another language, just make sure you post an English version of the recipe
- When you’re done, email me at from-snuggs-kitchen@gmx.net with BBD #50 in the subject line, and include the following:
2. The name of your blog and the URL
3. The name of your bread and the URL to the post (permalink)
4. Your location – where you are from.
5. A photo of your bread
- The deadline for your submission will be June 1st 2012, at midnight Eastern Time.
- The round-up of all the submissions will appear here on June 5th, 2012
- Your bread must be made in the month of Mai, 2012 – the latest, June 1st, 2012.
- If you’d like me to contact you when the round-up is up, please include that in your email to me.

Ich bin noch ganz neu in der Blogger-Szene, gerade mal seit
Oktober des letzten Jahres dabei. Von Anfang an war ich begeistert von ZorrasBBD (Bread Baking Day) und auch bei den letzten BBDs habe ich teilgenommen. Ich
hab mich so sehr gefreut, als Zorra von Kochtopf mich gefragt hat, ob ich den BBD#50
austragen möchte – den 50zigsten! Einen herzlichen Glückwunsch an Zorra zu
dieser Anzahl und auch ein Danke von mir an alle die bisher teilgenommen haben
und somit dazu beitragen, dass der BBD seit 2007 so erfolgreich ist.
Ich liebe es mein Brot selbst zu backen, alleine schon der Duft, der sich im ganzen Haus verteilt...
Wir essen seit neustem gerne Brot mit Gemüse, zum Beispiel Brot mit Karotten oder Kartoffeln und so kam mir auch
die Idee für den aktuelle BBD – backt ein Brot mit Gemüse, egal ob Mais, Zwiebeln, Karotten, Kürbis, etc – egal ob das Gemüse geraspelt, püriert oder
auf andere Weise ins Brot kommt. Wichtig ist nur, dass es ein Hefeteig ist und Gemüse enthalten ist. Alle
weiteren Zutaten sind offen, ob Weizenmehl, Haferflocken – egal.
Für die Teilnahme ist folgendes zu beachten:

Kreiere und backe Dein Brot

Schreibe einen Post darüber in Deinem Blog und verlinke diesen Post hier

Es muss eine englische Version des Rezepts und der Zubereitung enthalten sein

Schicke mir eine Email an from-snuggs-kitchen@gmx.de mit dem Betreff: BBD#50 und den folgenden Angaben
2. Den Namen Deines Blogs mit URL
3. Den Name Deines Brots und eine URL zum Post (permalink)
4. Dein Wohnort mit Land
5 Ein Foto deines Brots
- Frist für die Einreichung ist der 01. Juni 2012, Mitternacht Eastern Time.
- Das Round-up aller Einreichungen erscheint hier im Blog am 05. Juni 2012
- Dein Brot muss im Mai 2012 gebacken worden sein – spätstens am 01. Juni 2012.
- Du möchtest eine Info, wenn der Round-up online ist? Dann vermerke das bitte auch in Deiner Email.
Wo wir gerade von Round-ups sprechen: Schau dir doch noch den Round-up von Manuela von cravo e canela an, sie hat den BBD #49 veranstaltet – das Thema war "Bort und Pizza auf italienische Art" - lecker! Es wurden viele, tolle Rezepte eingereicht.
